Annapurna Circuit trek cost

What the Annapurna Circuit costs and where the money goes, from permits and jeeps to teahouses, guides and spending on the trail.

Price on request until our first season’s rates are set. Here’s what goes into the total, so you can compare quotes like for like.

What a package usually includes

  • Transport from Kathmandu to Besisahar, and from Jomsom back to Pokhara
  • Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (see permits)
  • A licensed guide and, if you want one, a porter, with their insurance, food and lodging
  • Teahouse rooms for every night on the trek

What other companies charge

Type of company Typical price
Nepal-based operators US$920–3,160; median about US$1,385, or US$89 a day
International mid-range brands about US$1,500, often without meals or permits

These are prices listed on operators’ own websites, checked on 1 October 2026, per person for two people sharing. Inclusions vary, so compare like for like: some international brands leave out most trek meals, which adds roughly US$400 or more to what you actually pay.

What you pay on the trail

Teahouses charge separately for hot showers, Wi-Fi and charging, and food gets more expensive the closer you get to Thorong La. The trek page lists typical prices for each.

Getting out from Jomsom

From Jomsom you either fly to Pokhara (weather permitting, mornings only) or travel by road down the Kali Gandaki valley.
