What a package usually includes

  • Transport between Pokhara and the trailhead, and back
  • Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (see permits)
  • A licensed guide and, if you want one, a porter, with their insurance, food and lodging
  • Teahouse rooms for every night on the trek

What other companies charge

Type of company Typical price
Nepal-based operators US$1,000–1,090 for most (full range US$720–2,499); median about US$1,050, or US$78 a day
International mid-range brands about US$1,000–1,320, plus meals on the trek
International premium brands about US$2,165–2,800

These are prices listed on operators’ own websites, checked on 1 October 2026, per person for two people sharing. Inclusions vary, so compare like for like: some international brands leave out most trek meals, which adds roughly US$400 or more to what you actually pay.

What you pay on the trail

Teahouses charge separately for hot showers, Wi-Fi and charging, and food and water get more expensive the higher you go, because everything above the road is carried in. The trek page lists typical prices for each.

Getting to Pokhara

The trek starts and ends in Pokhara. You can fly from Kathmandu or take a tourist bus.
